London, Ontario. – April 13, 2018 – Aerial Tool Corporation, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Canadian patent for its innovative technology by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. The product, named the SKYTOOL™ is a computerized, remote controlled robotic arm that is used to place an engineered and insulated barrier between the hazard and the worker.
Aerial Tool Corporation’s patented technology replaces the need for workers to perform work with dangerous tools such as chainsaws while elevated in bucket trucks or similar elevated vehicles. Using innovation, Aerial Tool Corporation delivers a safe working experience, allows people with physical disabilities or soft tissue injuries to participate fully in the tree maintenance industry, and provides an early response tool for managing storm events during harsh weather.
